Loveshoot in Amsterdam

Amsterdam – eine wunderschöne Stadt. Mit Marnik und Yentl verabredete ich mich an der Fähre Richtung NDSM Werft, um unser Fotoshooting zu starten. Mich lockten dort die alternativen und außergewöhnlichen Plätze, denn ich hatte vor, Pätze von Amsterdam zu zeigen, die weniger touristisch sind. Das Wetter war abwechslungsreich, was unser Vorhaben noch spannender machte. Auch Regen und Wind machen sich gut bei Fotoshootings. Mit der Ortswahl wurden wir nicht enttäuscht. Unglaublich, was sich uns dort bot. Hier könnte man Tage mit Fotografieren verbringen und wir hatten noch lange nicht alles entdeckt. Bei Marnik und Yentl muss ich mich für ihr Durchhaltevermögen in Wind und Wetter bedanken. Sie waren wirklich sehr tapfer. Im Noorderlicht, einem gemütlichen Café, machten wir eine Pause, während es draußen richtig anfing zu regnen. Zum Glück konnten wir unser Paarshooting im Trockenen im NDSM Gebäude fortsetzen. Zurück in den Grachten machten wir noch ein paar Abschlussfotos im Regen, die dadurch für mich um so romantischer wirken. Bald kehre ich wieder nach Amsterdam zurück, wo ein weiteres Paar darauf wartet, von mir fotografiert zu werden.

Amsterdam – what a wonderful city. I met with Marnik and Yentl on the ferry headed for NDSM-wharf to start our photoshooting. What attracted me were the more alternative and extraordinary locations since I had planned on featuring some of the city’s less touristy spots. The weather changed a lot which made our undertaking all the more exciting and one can even take good pictures in the wind and the rain. NDSM-wharf certainly lived up to our expectations and it is amazing what this location has to offer. One could easily spend days taking pictures there. Too bad we could only check out a few things during the short amount of time at our disposal. Thank you Marnik and Yentl for hanging on despite the wind and the rain – it is appreciated very much. We took a coffee break in cozy Noorderlicht Café as the rain was pouring down. Luckily enough, we were able to continue with the couple shooting inside NDSM-building. Back in the “Grachten“ we finalized the shooting in the rain which -in my opnion- made it all the more romantic. I will be back in Amsterdam soon, taking pictures of  another couple waiting to be photographed.
